FIRST HOUSE ON THE MOON
My topic is very unusual for me but I'll consider it as a
challenge because it is not just an ordinary topic especially for a
student like me. Your imagination imagination will apply and it will
help you develop your inventiveness skills. Imagine a house on the moon,
it sounds ridiculous but at the same time interesting. If I were to
build and design a house in an extraordinary place, I will make it
futuristic because we are now in a modern society.
In the moon, there is no air and the atmosphere varies
from 387degrees Fahrenheit below zero (-233 Celsius) at night to (123
Celsius) in the day. Tiny micro-meteoroids rain down on the surface and
no atmosphere means no protection from the sun's harsh radiation. The
first thing to consider when you construct a house in an extraordinary
place like moon is a proper place or position that will fit to your
desire design. It will have to be very tough and sturdy. It will have to
be air tight so the inside can pumped up with breathable air. Of
course, We will use high quality and very unique materials. The house
will have to be cooled during the moon day and heated during the moon
night. It will need a water recycling system, power generating system
and food storage and preparation facilities. The materials to build a
house on the moon should be lightweight since they will have to be
boosted out of earth's gravitational field. A house must have an
airlock. The airlock is a small room between the door on the outside and
the door on the inside and both doors must close very tight and not
leak any air. the shape of the house must be round like the surface of
the earth and ecah section has different functions. Let's say sec-1
seems to represent a residential area, sec-2 primarily function as a
storage area, sec-3 as a ceremonial unit dominated by a Kiva while sec-4
will function as a generating system.
Therefore, the house, it may not look fashionable but it will
be simply amazing and perfectly secured. There's no need to put any
non-sense decorative thingy because there's a chance to cause a
problem. What's important is, it's safe and restful.
